Introducing IV Infusion Therapy

|

Dar a Luz will start offering
IV Infusion Therapy on April 13th!

IV infusion therapy delivers fluids and essential vitamins, minerals, and
nutrients directly into your bloodstream through an intravenous catheter. This
allows for much faster and more efficient absorption compared to oral
supplements that must go through the digestive system. IV infusions are
commonly used for rapid hydration, energy boost, and to improve overall
wellness.

At Dar a Luz, we offer customized IV infusion therapy options that offer a
balance of electrolytes essential for hydration, as well as nutrients to boost
immune function and energy levels, improve the health and appearance of
skin, and aid in recovery from stress, travel, exercise, illness, or hangovers.

Our IV infusion ingredients are sourced from Olympia Pharmacy, known for
their high quality ingredients and effective blends and are administered by RNs
after a clinical evaluation is completed to ensure appropriateness and safety.

Total infusion time varies depending on volume, but is usually
from 45 – 60min.

We want to thank Nusenda Credit Union for selecting Dar a Luz as a
community rewards grantee for the second year in a row!

Nusenda Foundation’s goal is to partner with organizations that share in our
work to help New Mexicans and West Texans thrive in the communities
they call home.

Support like this does more than just fund services—it strengthens the
foundation of care we provide to New Mexican families every single day.

Postpartum Support Group: Baby-Wearing
Dance Party

Join us for a baby-wearing dance party during our Postpartum Support group
on April 8th! Get moving with your little one securely snuggled close in a
carrier, all while dancing to fun, upbeat music that lifts your spirit and
energizes your body. No dance experience is needed and we promise
NO ‘Baby Shark!’

Please bring your own baby carrier – any style that provides good
support and keeps your baby safe and secure against your body. Also please
dress comfortably, bring a water bottle, and yoga mat if you have one. You
should be at least 6 weeks postpartum and cleared for exercise. Space is
limited so please let us know you’re coming by emailing
amity@daraluzbirthcenter.org

Women of a Certain rAGE: Perimenopause
and Beyond Support Group

Dar a Luz is proud to announce a new support group for those who identify as
perimenopausal or menopausal women/people. Our first group will be in
person at Dar a Luz on Sunday April 19th from 4-6pm. We will gauge how we
move forward with dates and times based on attendance. At least one Dar a
Luz staff member will be moderating the group. Our hope is to offer this
group in person at least monthly. And we hope to have speakers and other
educational offerings. Mostly, we want to create a safe space for those of us in
midlife to meet and discuss life— the challenges we face as well as the
liberation of this time in our lives.

Snacks always provided. Donation requested but not required to attend.
Please consider bringing a friend or two as well!

Please consider donating to Dar a Luz to set us up for an impactful 2026!
Every donation has a profound impact on staff and clients alike and allows us
to continue offering our exceptional care to New Mexican families.
